Giuseppe Feola

Giuseppe Feola is an Italian-Swiss guitarist and professor at the Mozarteum University Salzburg from October 2024, currently a lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Basel. He specializes in classical guitar performance, pedagogy, and instrument development. Feola holds a Master of Arts and has performed globally, including at the Teatro Argentina (Rome), Bunka Kaikan (Tokyo), and Auditorio Nacional de Música (Madrid). His research focuses on optimizing musical representation systems and collaboration with luthiers to advance guitar design.

Education:

• Graduated with Menzione d'Onore from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and Conservatorio Alfredo Casella dell'Aquila.
• Studied with Stephan Schmidt at Hochschule für Musik Basel (honours, 2008).
