Andrea De Vitis (born 1985 in Rome) is a University Professor of Guitar at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (since 2023). He is internationally recognized as a virtuoso performer, educator, and advocate for classical guitar. His career combines concert performances, pedagogy, and music publishing.
Education & Training:
- Trained under Leonardo De Angelis, Paolo Pegoraro, Frédéric Zigante, Oscar Ghiglia, and others.
Research & Performance Focus:
- Promotes new repertoire through world premieres of compositions dedicated to him (e.g., works by Inés Badalo, Giorgio Colombo Taccani, and others).
