Giulio Cozzi

Giulio Cozzi is a Lecturer and Laboratory Supervisor at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, affiliated with the Institute for the Dynamics of Environmental Processes - CNR. He teaches courses in Environmental Sciences and Statistics for degree programs, with a focus on analytical methods and environmental contamination.

His research interests span Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Glaciology, and Paleoclimatology. He specializes in developing advanced analytical techniques like ICP-SFMS to study trace pollutants in environmental matrices (snow, ice cores, water) and their links to climate change. His work includes global contaminant tracking in remote regions (Arctic, Antarctica, Alps) and applications in food safety.
