معرفی
Gisela Anna Kuhn is a Lecturer at ETH Zurich's Institute for Biomechanics, where she teaches courses on bone biology and orthopedic biomechanics. Her research examines skeletal biomechanics, bone adaptation mechanisms, and orthopedic implant design.
Current work investigates mechanical regulation of bone remodeling, fracture healing processes, and biomechanical testing of orthopedic devices. She contributes to engineering applications in timber construction through structural analysis of lateral stiffening systems.
Teaching responsibilities include coordinating the course Bone Biology: Basics, Research and Clinics that integrates fundamental science with clinical applications in musculoskeletal health.
