Ginny Hudson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Music and Theatre at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. She teaches the flute studio and directs the Flute Choir, with students achieving state, regional, and national recognition in competitions such as Music Teacher’s National Association and National Flute Association events. Her expertise includes flute performance, chamber recitals, and orchestral training.

Hudson maintains an active performance career, serving as assistant principal flute with the Lowell House Opera Orchestra at Harvard University and as a soloist in Boston. She currently performs with the Fort Smith Symphony and the UAFS Woodwind Faculty Trio, which tours Arkansas to engage school band programs. Her professional work also includes adjudicating regional and state competitions in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
