Emily Hutchinson

Emily Hutchinson is a Catskills-based performer and instructor at the Roberts Community Music School of Roberts Wesleyan College, teaching flute and piano lessons both virtually and in person at Walton Music House.

Education:

• B.S. in Music Performance from Roberts Wesleyan College

Her expertise spans Music Performance with specialized focus on Flute and Piano Performance, Chamber Music, and Folk Music. As an active recitalist, she has performed as a concerto soloist with four orchestras and participated in masterclasses with renowned artists including Jim Walker, Paul Edmund-Davies, and Linda Chesis. Her recent performances span venues like Asbury First United Methodist Church, Eastman School of Music, and international locations including Christ Church in London.

Ms. Hutchinson maintains active teaching practices through the Roberts Community Music School while performing with the folk ensemble Brookside Trio.
