Gina Walters is an Instrumental Tutor specializing in Vocal at the School of Languages, Arts and Societies, University of Sheffield. She holds a First Class degree in Music from the University of Sheffield and is a classically trained singer with extensive experience in pop, jazz, and contemporary vocal performance. Her teaching focuses on holistic vocal technique, expression, and performance style development.
Key qualifications include Estill Training Levels 1 & 2, Vocal Health First Aid, and Youth Mental Health First Aid. She has undertaken professional development through workshops led by pedagogy experts such as Kim Chandler, Dane Chalfin, and Dr. Ingo Titze.
As a performer, Walters has toured internationally with bands like Screaming Maldini and Before Breakfast, with notable achievements including a No. 2 album chart position in Japan and performances at Latitude Festival and BBC Introducing. She has recorded at Abbey Road Studios and collaborated with artists like Justin Bieber. Additionally, she leads the pop choir Neighbourhood Voices and teaches at private studios, Sheffield Music School, Tracks, and Westbourne Senior School.
