Gina S. Lovasi is the Dana and David Dornsife Dean of the Dornsife School of Public Health and Professor of Epidemiology at Drexel University. She previously co-directed the Drexel Urban Health Collaborative and held roles at Columbia University, University of Washington, and UCLA.
Her research focuses on the intersection of urban environments and health outcomes, including cardiovascular disparities, spatial analysis of food retail access, and built environment impacts on aging populations. She has authored over 150 peer-reviewed articles and co-edited *Urban Public Health: A Research Toolkit for Practice and Impact* (Oxford, 2020).
Key projects include NIA-funded longitudinal studies on urban retail environments and cardiovascular health, as well as Google Street View-based analyses of neighborhood disorder. She co-directs an NIH-funded training grant in health equity research.
