Dr. Sharrelle Barber is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health and Director of the Ubuntu Center on Racism, Global Movements, and Population Health Equity. Her research focuses on structural racism's impact on Black communities' health in the U.S. and Brazil, emphasizing how systemic inequities are embedded in urban environments. She holds a ScD from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an MPH from UNC-Chapel Hill.
