Dr. Gillian Harrison is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leeds' Institute for Transport Studies and a Principal Systems Thinking Analyst at the UK Department for Transport. Her expertise lies in sustainable mobility, transport policy, low carbon transitions, and system dynamics modelling. She holds a MSc/PhD in Low Carbon Technologies and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Education:
- MChem in Chemistry with Forensic and Pharmaceutical Science
- MSc/PhD in Low Carbon Technologies (modelling, policy, and ethics of low carbon vehicles)
- PG Cert in Water and Environmental Management
Research Interests:
- Electro-mobility and automobility systems
- Transport equity and fairness in decarbonisation
- System dynamics modelling for policy appraisal
- Integration of new data forms (e.g., mobile phone tracking) into transport policy
