معرفی
Gianluca Tell is a Full Professor of Molecular Biology and Deputy Head of the Department of Medicine at the University of Udine, where he leads the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and DNA Repair. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms of gene expression, redox signaling, oxidative stress, DNA repair, and cancer biology, with over 200 publications and an H-index of 50.
He holds a Ph.D. and has received prestigious grants including the UICC Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer Study Grant. His laboratory investigates non-canonical roles of DNA repair enzymes in RNA processing and cancer progression.
Research Interests: Molecular mechanisms of DNA repair, redox signaling in cancer, miRNA processing, and oxidative stress response.
Awards:
- UICC Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer Study Grant (2011)
