Gianluca Carnabuci is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at ESMT Berlin, holding the Ingrid and Manfred Gentz Chair in Business and Society and serving as Director of Research since 2016. Previously, he held roles as Associate Professor at the University of Lugano and Assistant Professor at Bocconi University. He earned his PhD in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc from the University of Genoa.
His research focuses on inter- and intra-organizational networks, particularly in technological knowledge generation and recombination. He teaches courses in Organization Theory, Organizational Design and Change, Networks and Organizations, Human Resource Management, Negotiation, and Leadership.
As Director of Research, he oversees academic strategy and faculty research initiatives. His expertise bridges organizational dynamics, network analysis, and innovation systems.
