Giana Eckhardt is a Professor of Marketing at King’s Business School, King’s College London, and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Connecticut and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
Her research focuses on consumer behavior, consumer culture, ethics, branding, and the sharing economy. Key contributions include studies on marketized care, digital nomadism, and intersectional marketing theory. She has published over 40 articles in top journals like Journal of Consumer Research and co-authored The Myth of the Ethical Consumer.
