Prof. Gerit Wagner holds a Junior Professorship for Business Informatics at Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg, focusing on Digital Work. Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at HEC Montréal, researching Digital Health and Platforms. His expertise spans digital work systems, platform-based collaboration, and knowledge synthesis methodologies.
Education: Studied at University of Regensburg, HEC Montréal, and University of Oulu. Earned a doctorate in 2019 on 'Explaining Scientific Impact in Information Systems Research' under Professors Schryen and Benlian. His doctoral work was supported by the DFG project EPIQUALIS and recognized with the Christa Lindner Prize and Best Theory Paper Awards.
Research Outputs: Publications in top journals like Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, and Journal of Medical Internet Research. Active in international conferences, serving as a reviewer for journals and events.
