Gerhard Hoogers is a Senior Lecturer in Constitutional Law at the University of Groningen and Honorary Professor in Comparative Constitutional Law at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Groningen (1999) with a thesis on political representation theory, recognized by the Praemium Erasmianum Foundation. His expertise spans constitutional law of the Dutch Kingdom, comparative constitutional frameworks, and political theology. He advises Dutch Caribbean governments on constitutional matters and supervises Ph.D. students at Groningen.
