Gerd Karin Omdal

Gerd Karin Omdal is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), affiliated with the Department of Language and Literature under the Faculty of Humanities. Her research focuses on Nordic literature, feminist theory, surrealism, avant-garde movements, Gothic fiction, and 18th-century literary studies. She holds a doctoral degree (2023) and has authored numerous academic works, including a monograph on fantastic literature (2010) and a thesis on Guy de Maupassant's works (2000).
