Georges MINK is a Permanent Professor at the College of Europe's Natolin Campus (European Civilization Chair) and Director of Research at the CNRS-affiliated Institut des Sciences Sociales et du Politique (Université de Paris X, Nanterre). He specializes in Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on political systems, post-communist elite transformation, and transitional justice. Since 2015, he has served as President of the International Council for Central and East European Studies (ICCEES).
- Key roles: Director of the French Centre for Social Sciences in Prague (2001-2003), Director of Revue d’Études comparatives Est-Ouest (1999-2004), and founder of Géopolitique.
