George W. Keulks (1938–1997) was an Emeritus Professor of Chemistry and former Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He held a BA from Washington University (1960), MS from the University of Arkansas (1962), and PhD from Northwestern University (1964). His research focused on catalytic oxidation mechanisms and isotopic tracer techniques, contributing significantly to reaction kinetics studies. He served as UWM’s Dean of the Graduate School from 1975 to 1997, advocating for research excellence and graduate programs.
