Dr. George Nava is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow and Specialist Registrar in Respiratory Medicine at the University of Bristol's Academic Respiratory Unit (ARU), collaborating with institutions like the MRC IEU, ALSPAC, and Sheffield University POLARIS team. His research focuses on lung development determinants, asthma-related mental health impacts, and aerosol generation during medical procedures.
He contributed to the AERATOR study, which shaped NHS safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, and works with the pleural disease research group. His expertise spans respiratory imaging, lung disease origins, and clinical translational research.
