Dr Chloe Bloom is a Clinical Associate Professor in Respiratory Epidemiology at the National Heart & Lung Institute (NHLI), Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. She is an Honorary Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and leads research on integrated respiratory care and asthma management.
- Education: BSc in Biological Sciences (Imperial College London), MBChB (University of Manchester), MSc in Epidemiology (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine), PhD (MRC-National Institute for Medical Research)
Her research focuses on leveraging large clinical datasets to improve respiratory disease management, particularly adult and paediatric asthma, COPD, and post-COVID conditions. She leads a NIHR-funded program on asthma medication use and co-develops pragmatic data-enabled trials.
Scientific awards include:

- Fellow of the Higher Education Authority
She supervises BSc, MSc, and PhD students, serves as Respiratory Lead for Imperial College School of Medicine, and contributes to national/international asthma guidelines (BTS/SIGN, GINA). Her work informs government policy and clinical practice.
