Gavin Chuck is a Lecturer in Music Theory & Cognition at Northwestern University's School of Music. He holds degrees in Composition and Theory from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and Eastman School of Music, where he co-founded Ossia, a contemporary music organization. His research bridges music theory with linguistics and anthropology, focusing on the cognitive basis of musical meaning.
