Gary W. Jeter II is a Visiting Professor in the BFA Dance Lab at Bennington College for the 2024-2025 academic year. His career spans choreography, performance, and education, rooted in diverse dance traditions. He holds a BFA from the University of the Arts and an MFA in Dance from the same institution.

Recipient of the 2024 National Choreographic Award for “Broken Dolls”, Jeter has also choreographed for institutions like Bennington College, Danco 2, and the Come Together Festival. His teaching spans universities and dance programs, emphasizing collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches.
Current roles include residency at Bennington and ongoing collaborations with Complexions, where he restages repertory and assists choreographers Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.
