Professor Gary A Ford CBE serves as Chief Executive Officer of Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley (formerly Oxford Academic Health Science Network) since 2013, while holding a professorship in Stroke Medicine at the University of Oxford. He maintains active clinical practice as a consultant stroke physician at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and joined the NICE Board as a non-executive Director in 2021.
