Garrick Zoeter holds the Anna Lee van Buren Endowed Chair in Clarinet and serves as Professor of Clarinet and Coordinator of Winds & Percussion at Shenandoah University Conservatory. He earned his BM from The Juilliard School and MM from Yale University.
Zoeter is founding member of the award-winning Antares quartet, commissioning over 20 new works and performing globally at venues including Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. His recordings appear on CRI, Naxos, Bridge, and New Focus labels.
A dedicated educator, Zoeter's students hold positions in professional ensembles and universities worldwide. At Shenandoah, he regularly performs with the faculty Van Buren Wind Quintet and advises the National Society of Arts and Letters.
