Gabrielle Ranger-Murdock is an Assistant Professor and Specialty Track Coordinator in the Graduate Nursing program at the Lienhard School of Nursing, Pace University, within the College of Health Professions. She is based in Westchester and also teaches remotely.

Her research centers on improving mental health outcomes for underserved populations, especially people of color during the perinatal period. She focuses on innovative strategies to destigmatize perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and integrates her clinical expertise into nursing education. Her interests also include women’s mental health, reproductive psychiatry, and competency-based education using simulation. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes student engagement, communication, and inclusivity.
The publication in Child Development reflects her interdisciplinary work on racial essentialism and its developmental and social consequences. Her research trends show a strong commitment to equity, mental health, and early intervention in both clinical and educational settings.

Dr. Ranger-Murdock has received the Postpartum Support International Community Engagement Grant, supporting her work with perinatal mental health in underserved communities. She serves on the Department of Graduate Nursing Studies Admissions Committee at Pace University.
She is actively involved in professional service through memberships in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and Postpartum Support International. She has presented her clinical and research work at national conferences including Postpartum Support International and the Eastern Psychological Association.
