Gabriel G. Katul is a distinguished Professor of Hydrology and Micrometeorology at Duke University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, within the School of Earth & Climate Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Davis (1993), and has held visiting fellowships at institutions worldwide, including the University of Helsinki, Princeton University, and the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
