Isabelle Guinamard is a Lecturer in French Linguistics at Université Lumière Lyon 2 (ISPEF). She holds multiple leadership roles, including International Relations Director for ISPEF, Coordinator of the L2 Education License program, and oversees international partnerships with institutions in Asia, Europe, and beyond. Previously, she served as Vice-President for International Relations (2001–2006) and Director of the Language Center (2000–2001).
Her research focuses on inclusive education, peer tutoring systems, language acquisition, and cross-cultural educational policies. She has led funded projects such as « Espérance de vie scolaire et handicap » (2013) and « Un tutorat entre pairs pour mieux réussir » (2012–2013), addressing academic success and disability inclusion. Her work bridges linguistic studies with practical pedagogical strategies.
Teaching duties include courses on French linguistics (orthography, language history), research methodology, and intercultural education. She co-leads the M2 seminar on inclusive education and supervises research theses. She manages double-degree programs with universities in China, Taiwan, India, and the UK.
Her international collaborations extend to Asia-Europe educational exchanges, emphasizing language policy and intercultural competence development. She actively participates in interdisciplinary conferences and scientific dissemination initiatives.
