Prof. Fredo Schotanus is a Professor of Public Procurement at Utrecht University's School of Economics, specializing in sustainable and strategic procurement practices. He leads the Utrecht University Centre for Public Procurement (UUCePP), an interdisciplinary research hub focusing on legal and economic dimensions of public procurement. His research emphasizes leveraging procurement to drive societal goals like sustainability, social entrepreneurship, and circular economy principles.
