Dr. Fred Schurink is a Senior Lecturer in Early Modern Literature and English and American Studies at The University of Manchester. He holds a D.Phil. from Oxford University, following MAs from the University of Amsterdam and the Warburg Institute, London. His research focuses on transnational literary exchange, classical reception, and digital humanities, particularly examining the circulation of books in early modern Europe and their impact on English literary history. Key projects include the AHRC-funded 'Continental European Books in Early Modern England' and collaborations with institutions like Chetham's Library on regional readership studies.
