Franziska Huhn is an accomplished harpist and pedagogue holding faculty positions at Brandeis University, New England Conservatory, Boston University, Longy School of Music, and Wheaton College. She serves as Assistant Director of Boston University's Tanglewood Institute Harp Seminar and teaches at Connecticut Valley Harp Intensive.
Her performance career includes solo recitals globally, contemporary music collaborations (Callithumpian Consort, Collage New Music), and orchestral work with Boston Symphony Orchestra. She champions new music, premiering works by composers like Daniel Pinkham. Academic credentials include Artist Diplomas from New England Conservatory and Hochschule für Musik Hamburg, plus studies with Lucile Lawrence and Ann Hobson Pilot.
Awards include the Fromm Fellowship (2003) and first prize at Germany's Jugend Musiziert Competition.
