Frank Kameier

Professor Dr.-Ing. Frank Kameier is a faculty member at Hochschule Düsseldorf in the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering, where he leads the Institute of Sound and Vibration Engineering (ISAVE). His patented work includes innovations in fan impeller design, oscillating cylinders for energy conversion from flows, and aircraft outflow valves that have been implemented in Boeing 787 applications.

He has supervised over 50 theses since 2000, mentoring students in areas ranging from experimental transfer analysis of bionically inspired modifications to computational fluid dynamics simulations of quadcopters. His teaching includes courses on Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics (Bachelor), Fluid Mechanics and Noise Protection (Bachelor), Signal Processing (Master), and Low Noise Design.
