Prof. Frank Hendriks is a Full Professor of Comparative Governance at Tilburg University’s Tilburg Law School, specializing in democratic governance, political leadership, and citizenship studies. He holds fellowships at the Montesquieu Institute and the Netherlands Institute of Governance. His research focuses on democratic innovation, hybrid governance models, and institutional reform. He has authored influential works like Rethinking Democratic Innovation (2023) and Vital Democracy (2010). Hendriks advises the Dutch Council for Public Administration (ROB) and has held visiting appointments at Harvard, Cambridge, and other institutions.
