Ron Levy

Associate Professor Ron Levy is an interdisciplinary academic in the College of Law at the Australian National University (ANU), specializing in public law, political theory, and deliberative democracy. His work focuses on constitutional reform, particularly in deeply divided societies, environmental governance, Indigenous rights, and the role of deliberation in legal processes. He has authored influential books, including *Deliberative Peace Referendums* and *The Cambridge Handbook of Deliberative Constitutionalism*, and secured significant research grants from the Australian and Canadian research councils. Levy is a global leader in deliberative constitutionalism, convening international networks like the International Advisory Panel on Referendums and the ICON•S Australia/New Zealand Constitutional Theory Group. He currently directs the ANU Law School's LLB and JD Programs.
