Moeen Cheema is an Associate Professor at the ANU Law School and Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow. He holds a PhD from ANU, LLM from Harvard Law School, and LLB (Hons) from the University of London. His research focuses on comparative public law, constitutional politics, judicial review, criminal justice systems, and post-conflict state-building in Pakistan.

Publications: Over 25 peer-reviewed articles, books including Courting Constitutionalism (CUP 2022) and edited collections on Pakistan’s Chaudhry Court era. Recent work examines constitutional transitions in Pakistan’s tribal areas and autocratization in South Asia.
