Frank Hawke

Frank Hawke is an Instructor affiliated with the College of Humanities at the University of Arizona. He holds dual teaching roles at Stanford University (his alma mater) and institutions in China, including Peking University. His career spans over four decades in finance, business, and academia across Asia and the U.S.

Education: B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University. Professional experience includes leadership roles at Citibank, Salomon Brothers, JP Morgan Chase China, and Khan Bank (Mongolia). He re-established Citibank's presence in Vietnam during the 1990s and served as China Director for Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Research interests focus on economic systems, financial institution development, and cross-border corporate strategies in Asia. Teaching specialties include economics, economic history, and corporate finance.

Labs/Teams: Active in trans-Pacific academic collaborations through the Stanford Graduate School of Business and The Beijing Center for Chinese Studies.
