Robert Dubil

Robert Dubil is a Professor (Lecturer) in the Department of Finance at the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah. He resumed academic work in 2001 following a 12-year Wall Street career as a corporate risk manager and derivatives trader at institutions including Merrill Lynch, UBS, and JP Morgan Chase.

His research spans:

• Corporate and personal risk management strategies
• Innovations in personal finance and investment

He has authored multiple articles, book chapters, and textbooks—notably Financial Engineering and Arbitrage in the Financial Markets (Wiley, 2011).
