Frank Guertin is the Assistant Dean for the Hazelip School of Theology and an Associate Professor of Theology at Lipscomb University. He holds a PhD in theology from Durham University, focusing on the writings of Thomas Traherne. His research interests include theological anthropology, the history of Christian mysticism, and the epistemology of spiritual experience. He advocates for an integrated approach to theological education that intertwines personhood, place, and purpose with traditional theological disciplines.

Before academia, Guertin served as a minister in Middle Tennessee churches for a decade, including roles at Tusculum Church of Christ and North Boulevard Church of Christ. At Lipscomb, he co-founded the Institute for Christian Spirituality in 2009 and previously directed recruiting and marketing for the College of Bible and Ministry. He remains active in fostering spiritual and theological education through collaborative initiatives.
He resides in Triune, Tennessee, with his wife, Nikki, and their daughter, Lydia.
