Francisca Samsing Pedrals is a Senior Lecturer in Aquatic Animal Health at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, University of Sydney. Originally from Chile, she holds a BVSc, DVM, MSc (Aquaculture), and PhD. Her research focuses on infectious diseases in aquaculture systems, environmental stressors, and sustainable feed alternatives. She is affiliated with the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre, Centre for Drug Discovery Innovation, and Sydney ID.
