Francesco Giglio is a Professor of Civil and Private Law and Deputy Director of Research at the University of Surrey's School of Law. He holds degrees from La Sapienza University (Rome), the University of Freiburg (LLM), Osnabrück (Dr iur), and Oxford (MSt, DPhil). Previously, he taught at Cambridge and Manchester Universities. His roles include Visiting Full Professor at Groningen (2010-2014), Humboldt Fellow in Berlin, and Professeur invité at Montpellier I.
