Francesca Trombetta Panigadi is an Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Parma, affiliated with the Faculty of Law and the Department of Law, Political and International Studies. She holds a Laurea (Law, 1984, University of Milan) and a PhD in International Law (1989, University of Milan). Her career includes roles as a researcher at the University of Trento and confirmed researcher at the University of Milan. She has taught courses in Private International Law, Procedural International Law, and European Union Law across multiple institutions, including Bologna, Trento, and Parma.
Her research focuses on international law, European Union law, private international law, and human rights. She has contributed to PhD programs in European Union Law and Legal Sciences. Administrative roles include Director of the Department of International Law, Economics and Finance (2011–2012), member of University of Parma’s Disciplinary Board (2011–2014), and member of the Internationalization Commission. She participates in legal commissions, such as the Provincial Commission for the Revision of Customs and Practices and the Bar Examination Commission of Bologna.
