Dr. Foster Graif is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at Bethel University's College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Math & Computer Science. He leads the 5-8 and 5-12 math education programs and directs the Math Lab tutoring center. His research focuses on teacher preparation, particularly the use of proof as a teaching tool and how teachers address student errors in class discussions.
