Fisher Stolz is a Professor of Sculpture and Chair of the Department of Art and Design at Bradley University, part of the Slane College of Communications & Fine Arts. He is an active sculptor with a national presence, known for numerous public art installations across the United States.
His research and creative practice centers on sculpture and public art, with a focus on bronze and stainless steel reliefs, figurative works, and large-scale outdoor installations. His work bridges artistic expression with community engagement, often commissioned for civic and cultural spaces.
Fisher Stolz is a member of the International Sculpture Center, where he served on the Board of Trustees, and Chicago Sculpture International, where he held the position of Vice President. He has taught and studied abroad in Cortona, Italy, enriching his artistic and pedagogical approach.
He received his formal education from the University of Georgia, earning both a BFA and MFA in Sculpture. His academic leadership as department chair underscores his commitment to art education and program development.
Fisher Stolz maintains his studio in Washington, Illinois, and continues to contribute to the cultural landscape through commissions for institutions such as the Peoria Riverfront Museum, Caterpillar, the Chillicothe Veterans Memorial, and Bradley University.
