Heather Brammeier is a Professor of Art in the Art and Design Department at Bradley University, affiliated with the Slane College of Communications & Fine Arts. She works as a sculptor, painter, and installation artist whose work invites physical engagement and exploration.
Her artistic practice spans international exhibitions and public installations, with recent solo shows in Uruguay, Illinois, and Chicago. She has been featured in group exhibitions in Manhattan and has artwork in permanent collections including Delta Airlines, Ronald McDonald House, and the South Bend Museum of Art.

Her accolades include Best in Show at the South Bend Museum of Art Biennial 29 and first prize in the 2015 Rooftop Project Space Competition. She has no traditional scientific publications, but her creative output is exhibited widely and embedded in public and institutional spaces.
She mentors emerging artists and contributes to contemporary art discourse through practice-based research and collaborative initiatives. Her work bridges geographical and cultural contexts, emphasizing movement, memory, and perception.
