Fiona Rowles

Fiona Rowles is a Research Professional at the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, joining in 2024. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary food systems research.

Fiona's research bridges food systems, natural resources management, and anthropology, with a focus on community-driven solutions. Her prior experience includes a USDA Fellowship in Uganda and service as a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi (2017–2019).
