Dr Fiona Gregory is a Senior Lecturer in Literary Studies at Monash University's Faculty of Arts, specializing in theatre historiography and actress studies. She teaches across Literary Studies and Critical Performance Studies programs, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches. Her research focuses on the intersections of performance, mental health, and celebrity, with a monograph Actresses and Mental Illness: Histrionic Heroines (2019) earning an Honourable Mention in the Rob Jordan Prize. Gregory holds fellowships from Indiana University and Emory University, and contributes to global issues like stigma reduction and aging through her work on touring performers and digital archives.
