Associate Professor Joanne Evans is a leading academic in archival and recordkeeping studies at Monash University's Faculty of Information Technology. She heads the Digital Transformation group in the Department of Human Centred Computing and holds an ARC Future Fellowship (2015-2018) focused on co-designing inclusive recordkeeping systems for childhood out-of-home care. Her expertise spans participatory design, rights-based frameworks, and digital equity.
