Greg Rolan is a Research Fellow in the AiLECS Lab (Artificial Intelligence for Law Enforcement and Community Safety) at Monash University's Department of Data Science & AI. His research examines ethical AI, data rights for vulnerable communities, and participatory recordkeeping systems.
Research interests focus on recordkeeping informatics, systems interoperability, and the ethical application of AI in law enforcement contexts. He co-leads projects on institutional responses to child safety.
