Finn Marz is a Research Fellow and Associate Researcher at the University of Münster, affiliated with the Centre for Advanced Study “Access to Cultural Goods in Digital Change” and the Institute of Philosophy. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Communication Science (2020–2024), with a thesis on reference theories of language under Prof. Reinold Schmücker and Prof. Niko Strobach. His research focuses on pragmatics, the history of early analytic philosophy, and Ludwig Wittgenstein's philosophy, particularly exploring rule-following and creativity in philosophical contexts.
Marz has held multiple academic roles, including Research Associate (2024–present), Student Assistant (2022–2024), and Teaching Assistant for courses like Philosophical Logic and Writing Philosophical Papers. He currently teaches seminars on the Philosophy of Creativity and collaborates with Professors Schmücker and Strobach on interdisciplinary projects. His work bridges philosophical theory with digital cultural transformation, addressing issues like media change and access to cultural heritage.
