Filippos Filippidis is an Associate Professor in Public Health and Director of Education at Imperial College London's School of Public Health within the Faculty of Medicine. He holds a prominent position in public health research and education with extensive policy evaluation expertise.

Dr. Filippidis specializes in tobacco epidemiology and policy evaluation across Europe and Low- and Middle-Income Countries. His research examines tobacco taxation impacts, smoke-free legislation effects on child health, and industry interference in public health policy. He investigates social determinants of health, health services, and health-related behaviors through over 150 peer-reviewed publications that inform evidence-based interventions and global health policy development.
His professional leadership includes:

- Former Deputy Delegate of Greece at OECD Health Committee
As an educator, he designs and teaches undergraduate/postgraduate courses across multiple programs, both online and in-person.
