Franco Sassi

Franco Sassi is a Professor of International Health Policy and Economics at the Business School, Imperial College London, within the Department of Economics and Public Policy. He serves as Director of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Innovation (CHEPI) and is affiliated with the Centre for Translational Nutrition and Food Research.

Research Focus: Franco Sassi’s work addresses the economic evaluation of public policies targeting chronic diseases and risk factors such as poor nutrition, physical inactivity, alcohol/tobacco use, and environmental/social exposures. His expertise spans health economics, prevention strategies, and policy analysis.
